3 - Lots of garbage in the water

We were very excited when we pulled up to this beach. Beautiful view, very clean concessions etc, beach combed, lifeguards. Unfortunately the water was dirty. I’m used to lake water and know it’s different than ocean water but this water has lots of black stuff in it and I kept feeling small objects hitting my legs. When I would reach down to see what it was, it was garbage floating in the water. When we rinsed off later the tub water was black.

We simply wanted to dip our toes into Lake Erie and we did. Beach is small but clean. Water was calm and refreshing. Had a rinse off station which is something that should be at every beach.
5 - Nice, clean beach!

Nice, clean beach. Free parking is a plus! The rental shop is closed so be sure to take chairs. There are even some trees for shade towards the back of the beach. We were there on a saturday & there were lots of people but everyone was able to safely distance from one another.
