Praia da Amoreira is a beach within the Municipality of Aljezur in Portugal. The beach is on the western Seaboard in the north west of the Algarve. The beach is 5.4 miles north west of the village of Aljezur, and is 71.8 miles north west of the regions capital of Faro by road. It is located at 36 kilometers from the city of Portimão. With a total area of 50.56 acres, Praia da Amoreira is the 5th biggest beach in a radius of 50km. There are 4 parking lots available nearby. Good news! Two of them are free! With 2 food options available nearby, this spot is ideal if you want to get some calories in while you're there. This beach is very natural and untouched. It's far from any buildings or city noises, making it an excellent place to relax and recharge. Be sure to take some time to listen to the nature sounds around you and take it all in!

This is one of the most amazing beaches anywhere but you hav to know where you’re going as it’s well ‘off the beaten track’. A nice bar/restaurant means you don’t have to take your own food and drink though. This is a real ‘must see’.

We ate wonderful seafood here, surfed and chilled - perfect spot. There are sand-dunes and a lagoon for families. The water is clear and warm.

Went here thanks to a suggestion from a local and found myself in front of one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Must go
